Tom Neely, the award winning creator behind 2007’s The Blot has teamed up yet again with bestlabelever, Hydra Head Records to produce some art for their 2008 SXSW showcase poster.
You might remember Tom previously announced he would be doing a full comic “adaptation” of the Melvins’ latest album, “(A) Senile Animal” to accompnay Hydra Head’s LP release.
Over at his blog Tom gives a glimpse of the art, which Hydra Head founder/ISIS frontman, Aaron Turner will be designing, coloring and text layout for. Tom also shares a sweet story of meeting Turner after listening to a lot of ISIS during the creation of The Blot.
